These are two photos I have taken. I am a photographer, I love to express my feelings through this form of art. These are my examples of Spiritual art. What these photos represent is my struggle. Before I came to UWL I was in really rough shape. I had hit, what some call, rock bottom. I felt like i had nothing left to give or take from life. I was nothing but a beautiful Lie. I wanted in the worst way to die. I had no meaning to my life anymore, all it was, was a big heap of endless questions and no answers. Empty promises that’s all the world offered me.

i came to La Crosse in search of hope. and i found it. that’s where this picture comes in. the hands are held clasped representing me. I am at the mercy of God. i have nothing left to give but to beg for mercy. The blood represents the evil and sin in my life. All the horrid things i have done, that scar me and make me bleed. And the white rosary represents Christ's healing love for me. Purity is what he brings to my life. he is the one reason i am still alive today. and for that i am eternally grateful.
